Mothercare c1960’s.

This was once part of my Son’s X wife’s collection and due to a leaking shed she has decided to part with it, it needed some cleaning and is ok though perhaps not baby ready anymore. Again, my Grandson showing it off to its best and posing for the camera before the damp got to it!

1980’s Silver Cross ‘Grosvenor’.

My Grandson 1 month old fast asleep in his ‘real’ pram. He’s 4 now and sadly far to big to go in it anymore so the pram has now become a much loved part of the collection. Though showing some wear and tear is actually in very good condition considering that it has been in almost constant use since new.

Pedigree Pram ‘Elegant’ c1929. A typical late 1920’s/1930’s pram, thought to be one of the first of its type to be made of pressed steel in the Lines Brother new factory. Lines Brothers (Pedigree Prams) were a very well known manufacturer and also made dolls prams. Stunningly renovated by Pat from ‘Classycanopies’ in 2011, please see the ‘Favourite Sites’ page for a link to her website.
