Victorias

Victoria c1865. Make unknown. This small 3 wheeled Victoria has been repainted and at present is still awaiting some attention. Unfortunately the back wheels are thought to be replacements as they are metal and rather too heavy for pram wheels, the front wheel is wood with a iron tyre. The upholstery is green with porcelain buttons, the ends of the handle are finished with German silver.

Simpson & Fawcett & Co. Bassinet c1870. Simpson, Fawcett & Co also known as The Leeds Pail and Perambulator Works, produced many hundreds of beautiful perambulators and bassinets. This example has been extensively restored (see restoration page) it has wooden wheels and is made from canes. A hood has now been found for this pram but is currently waiting to be recovered.
